What match day in Cardiff is like

On international days, roads around the stadium are usually closed for several hours either side of kick-off, and trains into Cardiff Central are extremely busy. Parking near the centre fills early and is expensive. After the final whistle, thousands of fans leave at once, and queues for trains and taxis can last well into the evening.

Travelling as a group

For a club, a works outing or a group of friends, a minibus with driver keeps everyone together and removes the question of who drives. Your driver drops you as close to the stadium as the closures allow and collects you from an agreed meeting point at a time that suits you, whether straight after the game or later in the evening.

  • 16-seat minibus with driver: ideal for rugby clubs, stag and hen groups and corporate hospitality.
  • Executive cars and people carriers: for smaller groups and guests.
  • Pick-ups across South Wales and the South West: Newport, Bridgend, the valleys, Bristol, Bath and beyond.

Book early

Match days are among the busiest days of the year for transport in Cardiff, and vehicles get booked well in advance. Because of the extra traffic and demand, match-day rates are higher than our standard prices, and your price is fixed once you book.
